One ID, Complete Medical History

A New Era of Health Records

India has rolled out Digital Health IDs to simplify medical records access across hospitals and clinics. Citizens can now track prescriptions, lab reports, and doctor visits through a unified ID.

Doctors say this will reduce duplication of tests and speed up treatment, especially in emergencies where quick medical history access is crucial.

The initiative aims to build a connected healthcare ecosystem, enabling faster, more accurate, and paperless care across public and private facilities.
