Security Agencies Ramp Up Crackdown on Terror Network
Another suspect nabbed for harbouring the main accused in the Red Fort blast investigation intensifies

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a seventh suspect in connection with the car-bomb blast near the historic Red Fort in Delhi (10 November 2025). The accused, from Faridabad, allegedly sheltered and aided the main bomber, Umar Un Nabi, for about ten days before the attack.
According to the probe details, the suspect worked as a compounder at a medical institution an indication that members of the terror network may have infiltrated professional sectors, highlighting the complexity and reach of the conspiracy.
This arrest comes after earlier detentions of multiple individuals, including doctors and alleged handlers. The investigation is reportedly uncovering a web of support, shelter, and supply suggesting the blast may be only the visible part of a larger network operating across states.
As security agencies comb through evidence, there is renewed public focus on urban security, vetting protocols for sensitive jobs, and the need for stronger community vigilance. The government has reiterated that such acts of terror will be met with firm action.
