Traffic Gets Smarter

AI Steps In to Reduce Congestion

Bengaluru has introduced India’s first AI-powered traffic management system capable of predicting congestion and adjusting signals in real time. The project is expected to reduce wait time by nearly 30%.

The system uses cameras and sensors to analyse vehicle density, lane movement, and peak-hour flow patterns. Early trials show promising results across major junctions.

With this upgrade, the city aims to improve commuter experience, reduce fuel waste, and pave the way for nationwide adoption of intelligent urban mobility solutions.
